Konica Minolta has announced the launch of a new A3 printer onto the UK market, the magicolor 7450.
A colour laser printer, the magicolor 7450 is available immediately and retails for approximately £2,300. It has printing speeds of 24 pages per minute (ppm) for A4 in both colour and laser and is capable of 13ppm for A3 prints.
"Strengthening our product line-up in the B2B market segment, the magicolor 7450 offers exceptional performance, best-in-its-class colour output and diverse media handling, which makes it the ideal solution for enterprise customers who require commercial quality documents at top speed," said Oscar Rook, marketing director at Konica Minolta Printing Solutions (UK).
The printer has 256MB of memory, upgradeable to 1GB and sports Ethernet connections, USB ports and parallel interfaces.
It is fully compatible with PictBridge technology, allowing PitcBridge-supporting digital camera users to print their photos with ease and speed.
According to Konica Minolta, when printing in colour the first page takes just 11.5 seconds, whereas for black and white it is even faster, taking 9.5 seconds.
