Wednesday 25 October, 2006
Konica Minolta Business Solutions has announced the launch of its latest bizhub machine, with the arrival on the market of the bizhub PRO C6500e colour production print system.
The build up to the latest bizhub offering from the company began well before the start of the Digital Print World exhibition, where the new machine was debuted.
With the capacity to print as many as 65 pages per minute in either colour or black and white, the bizhub PRO C6500e can handle up to 300,000 pages per month meaning it is a heavy duty printer.
The print system also has a number of post-printing finishing options, allowing six-way folding, booklet making and post inserting. It also staples and punches at a rate of 3,900 impressions per hour.
Speaking back in July, ahead of the print system's launch, Jos Kelly, head of production print for Konica Minolta, said that the bizhub will "set new performance standards in the market".
