The new head of the professional services and solutions group (PSSG) at Konica Minolta Business Solutions has said that the company's bizhub printers are a "perfect focal point" for innovation in the workplace.
Mat Stanley was speaking following his appointment to the role, which will see him take responsibility for overseeing the development of software solutions for Konica Minolta's bizhub range.
"We are at a point in time when the market's demand for integrated solutions is greater than ever," Mr Stanley said.
"Customers are realising that so much more can be achieved from technology in their working environment. The bizhub acts as a perfect focal point for this innovation and it is the role of PSSG to ensure that the right solutions are available to fulfil these requirements."
Both third-party and in-house solutions, including workflow solutions for the company's bizhub PRO range, fall under his department's remit.
The newest bizhub PRO to be released by the company was the bizhub PRO C6500e, launched in October for heavy-duty printing.
