New refill inks developed
Tuesday 01 August, 2006
A range of new inks have been developed that could find their ways into HP printer cartridges.
The ink has been developed as refill ink for a range of HP printer cartridges that feature Scaleable Printing Technology (SPT), using new hi-tech dyes and pigments to create the best possible refill.
Ink Technology Corporation, the US-based company that has formulated the ink, has said that users need not worry about any difference between the ink that comes in the HP printer cartridge and the ink it is refilled with.
The ink will be demonstrated at the Recharger World Expo in Las Vegas this month and although it is initially being launched in the US, the product appearing in the UK has not being ruled out.
Black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan and light magenta have been formulated so far by Ink Technology Corporation and work with the C8721 and C8771 HP printer cartridges.
