According to Recycler Publishing & Events, inkjet and laserjet printer technology is continuing to experience market growth as a result of technological advances such as organ printing and printed electronics.
However, reductions in price are also a motivational factor, particularly in the market for laser printing technology, although growth is also predicted as a result of the adoption of technology such as wireless printing.
"Wireless printing, document management systems and the increasing use of multi-functional devices are likely to play a crucial role in the growth and development of these technologies," said Subrahmania Janakiraman, a research analyst at Technical Insights.
