Ricoh announces new printers
Monday 31 July, 2006
Ricoh, the print and document management company, has announced a number of new laser printers to be launched onto the market during the rest of the financial year.
Two different ranges will be released, one mono printer and two colour laser printers. All three printers are targeting the small office environment in some part, where toner will certainly need to be at the ready!
Firstly comes the Aficio SP8100DN, a mono printer aimed at offices and host printer environments. Capable of 45 pages-per-minute, the SP8100DN also features user authentication, DOS (Data Overwrite Security) functionality and copy control, meaning security is well covered.
Secondly, the Aficio SPC410DN and Aficio SPC411DN are colour laser printers capable of delivering 25 and 30 pages-per-minute respectively, in colour and black and white.
Advanced connectivity features allow users to easily integrate the printer into a network, where affordable colour jobs do not wish to sacrifice quality. Again, security is well catered for, with data encryption and controlled access functions.
