Tally offers 9035N upgrade incentive

TallyGenicom has announced that any customers that buy a 9035N mono laser printer between now and the end of the year will be in for a little treat.

The business printer specialist has said that any 9035N bought before December 31st 2006 will get the bonus of three years extended warranty, free e-forms and a free set of consumables.

In total, the extras package is worth £300, with the consumables set comprising a process unit, or laser toner, which will last for 17,000 pages.

The 9035N is capable of printing 150,000 pages per month and has a 64MB printer memory on board. It can rattle off pages at a speed of 35 per minute.

"The 9035 is extremely popular and already the lynchpin of many an office in the UK," said TallyGenicom's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, Robin Edwardes, according to IT Backbones.

"However, we wanted to remove traditional entry barriers to ensure that new offices could also take advantage of the exceedingly low capital and operational cost of the printer through offering extended warranty and free consumables for a limited period."

TallyGenicom's latest promotion follows hot on the heels of last week's announcement that it would be offering three years free servicing to anyone who upgrades their line printer before the year's end.
