Xerox installed as an office favourite
Wednesday 01 November, 2006
Xerox has revealed that installation activity surrounding some of its key printer areas increased in the third quarter of 2006.
More offices chose to install multifunction devices and production colour printers, according to Xerox, than they had in the same period of 2005.
The news came as part of the company's third quarter trading announcement, with Xerox seemingly very pleased with the uptake of its office printing solutions.
"The leading indicators of our growth strategy – which is all about boosting our annuity stream through growth in digital, services and colour – continued to trend positively in the third quarter," said Anne M Mulcahy, Xerox chairman and chief executive officer.
"Install activity was up for Xerox digital systems in key markets like office multifunction and production colour… and our broad portfolio of colour technology fuelled a 16 per cent increase in post-sale revenue from colour."
Xerox offers a range of toner supplies and printer ink cartridges to support its multifunction devices and colour systems, which could have helped boost its post-sale revenue.
