Printer cartridges supplier Canon is currently displaying its ink technology and two of its models at an event in the US.

This year's Independent Community Bankers of America National Convention and Techworld – which completes its four-day run at the San Diego Convention Centre in California tomorrow (March 24th) – sees Canon showcase its imageCLASS models as well as its award-winning imageFORMULA products.

Canon image systems group vice-president and general manager Jim Rosetta said the event provides a "suitable forum" to present such technology to bankers.

"With Canon's line of imageFORMULA and imageCLASS lines, we seek to provide community bankers with more streamlined and secure workflows to better meet the needs of their customers," he added.

The imageCLASS MF5880dn printer will be on display, as well as the LBP6650dn, which can print up to 35 pages per minute.

Canon will also be exhibiting the FPV-10 Thermal Receipt Printer, which has been created by its partner Star Micronics.
