Users of Canon printer cartridges have been advised that the manufacturer is refreshing its line of multifunction printers (MFPs).

According to the tech firm, the company is looking at enhancing its offering for both small and home offices.

Indeed, Canon said it wants people in these environments to be able to "leverage big office technology in a single device".

Jim Rosetta, spokesman for the company, said the recent unveiling of the imageCLASS MF4450 and imageCLASS D550 demonstrates its willingness to achieve this goal.

"Canon continues to demonstrate our commitment to provide a more streamlined, cost-effective business solution without the complexities of multiple devices," he commented.

With more and more people opting to set up a home office and work remotely, it's becoming increasingly vital for employees to have a decent tech infrastructure in place.

The Telework Association recently noted that a growing number of employers are recognising the benefits of flexible working and the productivity gains it can generate.
