Ink cartridges for home printers could be in demand soon after a new mobile extension for Firefox Mobile allows users to send print jobs from their Android-powered handsets.

Printers compatible with Google Cloud Print will be able to print web pages directly from their browser using the Cloud Printer 1.0.1 extension that has been created by developer Mark Finkle, IT Pro Portal reports.

Furthermore, he is hoping to make further advances with the technology in the future that will allow people to print wirelessly over the cloud – something which is presently unavailable for mobile users.

Meanwhile, PCPro.co.uk recently gave a positive review to the Canon Pixma MX420 printer, which could be the perfect choice for individuals hoping to take advantage of the new Cloud Printer 1.0.1 application.

The publication stated that the printer has a 100-sheet capacity and is able to print directly from USB, send faxes and connect with Wi-Fi or ethernet networks.
