Kodak has announced the launch of its new KODAK ESP Office 2170 printer, which it claims is the perfect device for the home office.

Printer cartridges for the product may therefore soon be in demand, as the company claimed the printer offers high-quality and affordable print solutions for users.

Capable of printing up to 670 black pages and 550 colour pages using Kodak ink cartridges, the device is also able to correct scanned images that are in less-than-perfect resolution.

"Our new ESP Office 2170 Printer delivers print, copy, scan and fax capabilities in a compact design for the home office, and provides versatility, connectivity and high quality," commented Susan Tousi, general manager for inkjet systems and vice-president at Eastman Kodak Company.

LaptopMag.com recently reviewed the Kodak ESP C310 and found the printer to be perfect for home users who are on a budget.

The product features a 1.5-inch LCD screen, which the publication claimed made it the ideal choice for high school or college students.
