Using ink cartridges and printing sports images can be a good way for some people to relive memories of past events, but sometimes, it seems, photos may not quite represent reality.

According to SB Nation, one photo from last night's (April 27th) Champions League match between Real Madrid and Barcelona has been altered.

The news provider claims that rather than printing a photo of the tackle by Pepe on Dani Alves, Madrid's sporting newspaper AS doctored an image to make the tackle seem less harsh.

SB Nation notes that in this case there was no need to alter the image to try and justify the tackle, saying that while it was a rash challenge, it was not really worthy of a red card.

Individuals wanting to use their own ink cartridges and print pictures of their idolised sports stars could use image editing software to cut out things in the background so they can print the picture they want.
