Individuals looking for Kodak ink cartridges for their wireless printer may be interested to hear the company has introduced a new app for Android users to aid with remote printing.

Owners of smartphones running the operating system will be able to download the Pic Flick program for free from Android Marketplace in order to send their photos to any compatible Kodak machine.

Printers that can connect to the app include the ESP 9200, 7200, 5200, C300 series and ESP Office 6100 and 2100 series all-in-one devices.

General manager for inkjet systems and vice-president at the company Susan Tousi said Pic Flick will help make printing easier in an increasingly connected world.

"We will continue to deliver smart printing solutions that provide exceptional ink value and high quality output for the home and home office," she added.

Kodak owners are not the only ones who may find a mobile phone app useful for printing, as many manufacturers, including Canon and HP, offer similar programs to allow iPhone and iPad users to print directly from their smartphone.
