Individuals looking for an all-in-one printer for use in the home may like to consider a device from ink cartridges maker Kodak.

The Hero 5.1 is the entry-level model in the Hero line, but still offers a range of features, such as wireless connectivity, automatic duplexing and the ability to print remotely through Google Cloud Print.

Examining the machine for CNet UK, Niall Magennis noted that its design is fairly attractive, which may allow it to fit easily into a home environment, while he was also impressed with its output quality.

This is something that was also highlighted as a positive feature by Simon Williams of Trusted Reviews, who described the Hero 5.1's results as "zingy and unblemished" for graphics, while photo prints are "clear and bright with natural colours and good definition".

Both experts also commented on the low running costs for the machine, which Mr Magennis said were very "impressive" and cheaper than many of its rivals.

"If you're interested in achieving low print costs and good-quality output, this stylish machine will be a good bet," he said, while Mr Williams added it is an excellent entry-level all-in-one.
