Several products from ink cartridges maker Epson have been awarded accolades for the quality of their design at an event in Japan.
In the multifunctional printer category at the 2011 Japanese Good Design Awards, the Stylus Office BX925FWD and BX625FWD were praised for being excellent examples of inkjet printers suitable for enterprises, while the Stylus Photo PX830FWD was highlighted as a great home device.
"The beautiful design product provides an overall sense of class and we have recognised this product as offering a new concept in design for home inkjet printers," said the judges of the PX830FWD.
For single-function printers, the Stylus Photo R3000 was also praised, with the awards panel stating it is "perfectly matched to professional photographers and photo lovers".
However, it was not just Epson's printer products that came away with awards, as two of its projectors, the 3D-ready EH-TW6000 and home cinema system product EH-TW8000 were also handed prizes.
Recently, Epson unveiled two new multifunction printers as part of its Small-in-One compact range, the SX435W and SX235W.
