Printer supplies maker Samsung has unveiled a trio of digital cameras that it claimed are set to "revolutionise" travel photography.

The firm stated the WB850F, WB150F and ST200F models offer advanced optical zoom features as well as improved image quality over previous models in the range.

Head of digital imaging at Samsung UK Nick White said: "Taking photographs and sharing them with friends and family is one of the most enjoyable aspects of travelling. It's about more than simply capturing memories – it's an integral part of the experience itself."

He said the company has therefore listened to customers and come up with designs that feature the ability to quickly share snaps with friends and relatives.

The Smart capabilities of the camera allow a person to use any Wi-Fi hotspot to instantly share images via email, or post still pictures and videos to sites such as Facebook and YouTube.

Samsung is not the only firm to introduce new digital camera offerings recently, as Canon, Nikon and Fujifilm have all debuted their latest models in recent weeks.
