Home users looking for a compact all-in-one device may like to consider the Stylus SX445W from ink cartridges maker Epson.
The machine – which offers printing, scanning and copying functionality – is part of Epson's 'Small-in-One' range and has a footprint 39 per cent smaller than previous models, the manufacturer noted.
It also comes with Wi-Fi connectivity in order to print remotely and a smart navigation touch panel that can allow an individual to produce photos without the need for a PC.
Reviewing the device for Computer Active, Cliff Joseph observed the machine could be a good choice for home users who only have occasional printing requirements.
The Stylus SX445W is cheap to operate and offers a versatile range of features, he said, while print quality is also impressive when using specialist glossy paper.
Recently, another device from Epson, the Stylus Photo PX730WD, was praised by Simon Handby of Expert Reviews for its all-round performance, which includes "excellent photo printing".
