Canon a huge manufacturer in A3 inkjet printers attemps to push the boundaries with virtual reality with their cool and futuristic “Mixed Reality System”.

The Canon Mixed Reality System combines the real and virtual worlds in real time by using full-scale three-dimensional CG (computer generated) these images can then react to the user’s movements instantly.

The tech consists of a head mounted display that combines the real and the virtual worlds, and a wand-like device that allows you to change the images direction or movements.

Canon displayed their MR System at the Virtual Reality Expo last week and is aimed at changing how we design and manufacturing products and procedures from building cars to medical procedures.
