Home users looking for an all-in-one printer that is affordable and can produce good-quality photos may like to consider an ESP Office 2170 from ink cartridges maker Kodak.

The device, which includes scanning, faxing and copying functionalities, comes with the ability to connect wirelessly to a home network, while several mobile printing options allow users to produce photos directly from a smartphone or tablet PC.

It also has features such as a 25-page automatic document feeder to improve efficiency for home office users and a two-cartridge system that makes replacing printer supplies a straightforward process.

Examining the Kodak ESP Office 2170 for Macworld, reviewers Melissa Riofrio and Jon Jacobi noted the device is "very easy to use", with simple installation and intuitive controls.

They were also impressed with the extremely low running costs for the machine, while image output is "superb" when printing using Kodak's specialist photo paper.

Another Kodak model that was recently praised for its high performance is the Hero 7.1, which was described by Niall Magennis of CNet UK as producing "first-rate" results.
