How do solid ink printers work?
This range of printers developed by Xerox, heat up the wax to extremely high temperatures and turn it into liquid that can then be used to create your print out. This means that unlike other types of printer cartridges, there is no plastic waster that needs to be recycled.
There is a small amount of waste wax created by a solid ink printer but this is easily removed from a tray and can even be safely used as a crayon, or thrown away..
