Home office users looking for a budget multifunction printer (MFP) may like to consider the DCP-J525W model from ink cartridges maker Brother.

The manufacturer noted the device – which includes copying and scanning capabilities – is wireless-ready, so a user can produce photos and documents from anywhere in the house.

It also claimed the printer is one of the most eco-friendly options available, offering quiet noise levels and low power consumption.

Examining the DCP-J525W for Expert Reviews, Kat Orphanides said the machine's design is "pleasingly sleek", while the economical pricing of the MFP should appeal to home and small business users on a budget.

Ms Orphanides was also impressed with the fast printing speeds the device is capable of and observed the quality of its copying is also very good.

Recently, another Brother model, the MFC-J825W, was described by reviewers Melissa Riofrio and Jon Jacobi of PC World as an excellent choice for home office users with low volume requirements.
