Inkjet cartridges could be in demand after it was revealed that home office workers prefer inkjet printers to other types of devices.

According to a poll conducted by PC Advisor, 49 per cent of respondents stated that they would prefer an inkjet printer to a laser machine.

Only 31 per cent of people who took part in the study said they would choose a laser printer.

The publication noted that although inkjet printers once had a reputation for being expensive to run, this is no longer the case and they can prove to be the most efficient option in some cases.

However, 14 per cent of those who responded to the survey stated that they have both a laser device and an inkjet printer.

A good quality printer that is cheap to run is the Hero 9.1 model from ink supplies maker Kodak, which the manufacturer says is easy to set up and to use.
