Ink supplies maker Canon has highlighted the success of its range of products this year, which has seen the company pick up numerous accolades.

As well as being listed as among the world's top 50 brands by Interbrand and appearing on Fortune Magazine's World's Most Admired Companies list, the firm's products have also picked up a range of prizes.

This includes its Pixma range of printers, with the MG8220 model named among the best gadgets of the year by PC World, while several cameras from Canon, including the EOS Rebel T3i, PowerShot G12 and PowerShotSX 230, also appeared on the magazine's list.

Senior director and general manager of corporate communications at Canon Bunji Yano stated it has always been the firm's top priority to deliver the best products and services to customers.

"We are very proud to have received such distinctive awards across various product lines, which proves Canon's dedication to exceptional quality and innovation," he said.

Recently, the firm's Pixma MG5350 was the latest printer to receive praise, being described by CNet UK as an ideal option for amateur photographers.
