People may need to buy Canon ink cartridges if they invest in one of a range of new printers from the brand.

The manufacturer has unveiled three new models in its Pixma line of devices, the MX375, MX435 and MX515.

Available throughout Europe from April, the machines all offer scanning, copying and faxing functionality in addition to producing high-quality printouts.

Canon claims the gadgets offer fast speeds for both photo and document outputs and all feature a front-facing paper tray, allowing the equipment to be pushed up against a wall to save space.

Connectivity options include built-in Wi-Fi on the MX435 and 515, which also support AirPrint in order to produce items directly from Apple mobile products such as iPhones and iPads.

All the models come with a range of software solutions for consumers looking for the latest technology, "whether that's printing from the web, eco functions or getting creative with photography and HD Movies," Canon added.

Recently, the brand's Pixma MX410 device was noted by Jon Jacobi and Melissa Riofrio of PC World to be an excellent choice for a budget all-in-one.
