Hi there, the Canon MG2550S (UK version) used the PGI-545 and CLI-546 ink cartridges so the 541 / 540's would not work correctly I'm afraid.

Hi there, that is correct the Pixma MG2950 printer also takes the PG-545 and CL-546 ink cartridges.
