A UK bought Epson XP-2205 printer (also known as the Epson Expression Home XP2205), takes 4 inks from the Epson 604 and 604xl range. Only printers in the UK will work with the 604 inks as
printers bought from other regions will use different cartridge numbers due to the regional encoding built into the printer firmware. At CartridgeMonkey.com, we sell great value inks to any
address in the UK, and offer free shipping on orders over £50.

Is it easy to replace Epson XP-2205 inks?
Replacing Epson XP-2205 ink is relatively easy, however, there are a few steps that can catch you out depending on whether you already have an empty cartridge, or whether the cartridges aren't
empty but you are experiencing print quality issues.
If you have an empty ink cartridge and the cartridge light is lit up, follow these instructions:
- Press the stop button once (looks like a circle with a triangle inside it).
- Lift the printer cover up and you will see which cartridge needs to be replaced (the plastic arrow pointing to the cartridge).
- To remove the old cartridge, pull the clip at the back of the ink cartridge towards you and then pull upwards.
- Make sure all packaging and protective covers are removed from the new cartridge.
- Insert it into the printer until it clicks.
- Close the printer cover and press the stop button once more.
If your cartridges aren't empty but you have print quality issues or a fault and you wish to inspect them, the instructions are the same but for point 1, hold the stop button for 10 seconds to
get the printer to move the ink carriage over inside the printer.
